Your mind needs to let go and learn how to stop. Just stop!

We know that is all about the journey and nothing is never really completed.  Once we are done with something, another thing comes along and fills up more space in our hard drive.

I know I have issues with this at times.  I would be working on something and then I would move on to something else like taking a shower, eating, sleeping or workout while my mind is still caught up on the task I was doing previously.

Instead of me focusing on what I am doing right now.  My mind is distracting me with thoughts about something that I am done with, for the moment.

It gets tiring.  It’s a lot of wasted energy, that could be used more wisely and it also prevents us from actually enjoying this precious present moment.

What we should all do is be done with whatever we are doing once we say to ourselves : “Ok, I’m done for the day.  I have performed as well as I could and I am finished till next time”

We need to learn how to switch the on/off button.  I write and when I am done for the day, I move on. It is the same for my workout, reading and meditation... All of it is done and I am finished until the next time.

Sometimes you will have insights, ideas and intuitions for bettering your life, work or anything wholesome you might have going in your life.  Just write it down and let go.   
What I am saying is not to start thinking and overthinking about something you have already finished for the time being.

Whatever you’re doing.  You can’t be reckless and be ON at all times.  Learn to be OFF.  Give it your everything and when you’re done for the day.  It’s over.  It’s finished.
