Why I meditate? And why you most definitely have to try it.

I meditate because I have no choice. Nobody is pointing a gun at my head but almost. Whenever I stopped doing something that is good for me. My life is worsen as a consequence.

 

If I stop exercising I feel like shit. If I stop eating healthy food I feel like shit. If I stop meditate my life goes down the gutter.

 

I’m not joking. Whoever you are try (really try) meditating for a while and just stop. See the way your life unfolds.

 

I stopped meditating for many years after I left the meditation center. It was not until I got really depressed that I start meditating again. That’s the only thing (and working out) that got me through to better days.

 

The days I don't start with meditation. I can just see how my awareness, productivity and positivity goes down. So I don’t meditate because I want to. I do it because I HAVE TO.

 

I honestly think that it is a practise I will never give up. That’s how confident I am about this practise. What are the benefits ? Those are not the most important. You can check my book if you want to. The benefits for me are just one thing.

 

 

My life gets better. That’s it. That’s all you need to know. The specific benefits will vary from a person to another. Some of them are very subtle as well. So am I to tell you how you will benefit from meditation.

 

I’m just saying give it a go. 15 mins a day. Do it. Do it for a month. Enjoy it and tell me about your experience. Send me a message if you need any help. Get the book for more guidance.

 

You can an app like headspace (no affiliation). You can go for a retreat (this is by far the best way to start). Or you just practise at home when you wake up and/or go to sleep.
