Make your own rules

“Be yourself; everyone is already taken.” - Oscar Wilde ______________________________________________________

Ask yourself who you want to be, not what you want to be. It’s your life, your rules, your choices. Sometimes, you have to learn to know yourself.

Experiences shape you into the person you are today, but that does not mean that you already know who you really are now. Know what you are passionate about and what you want to do in life. If you still don’t know who you want to be, you are not alone.
Not only thousands but millions of people think about that same question every day. If you want to know who you want to be, here are three tips on how you can make your own rules. Know
What You Want Decide what you want. If you don’t know what you want, you can’t ask for it. Think about the things you desire to achieve one, two, five, and ten years from now.
Do you want to be like this person? Do you wish to serve the nation in the near future as a teacher or a role model perhaps? Knowing what you want, whether it is in short, medium or long-term goal is the initial step in identifying your future.
Regret Nothing Don’t feel bad about being selfish. It’s your life after all. It is time for you to live it the way you want to live it. If you always regret the things that you do or didn’t do in the past, you will not be able to move forward.
So leave the past behind, live for the present, and hope the best for the future. Let People Know Don’t keep all your desires and goals just to yourself. Voice it out and let others know what you are trying to achieve. If you tell the people around you what you are trying to accomplish, they will support you and even give you new ideas.
